(Dendroica nigrescens) * Black-throated Gray Warbler is a common summer resident of pinyon-juniper woodlands. It is also a fairly common summer resident of ponderosa pine forests with a Gambel oak component. Black-throated Gray Warbler is a fairly common spring and fall migrant on the rims and an uncommon migrant along the Colorado River. Data source: Gatlin, BP. 2011.
