Park Species Detail: Synonym = This genus is traditionally placed in the family Polypodiaceae; some break out this genus into a separate family, Dryopteridaceae.
This taxon appears to be truly rare in this Park Unit, and, despite several efforts, has never been recollected since the single existing collection. Habitat in this Park Unit = Generally restricted to lava flows. Original data for this Park-Name Profile record were derived and entered by Steve J.
