12/16/25 TE: Multiple named varieties occur in the park, with the most abundant variety currently being un-named in Weakley 2024 (list as 'Var. 2). It is likely that V. stamineum var. sericeum and V. stamineum var. stamineum are also present. Until published work is completed to name the remaining varieties, we will continue to stick with the parent holding of V. stamineum only.
