Notes
Park Species Detail: Engbring & Ramsey state this species is found on all the major islands of American samoa, and most birds may be semi-domestic or feral and it is not known if there are any fully wild, self-sustaining populations. It is found in forest or along forest edges, foraging on the ground and roosting in trees. The junglefowl is secretive and often runs on the ground to escape detection. Most junglefowl are found around villages and residential areas. However, there are reports of wild birds, and several that were recorded on Tutuila appeared to be deep in interior forest and were probably wild., Park Species Data Source: NATUREBIB-3284, Engbring & Ramsey 1989
