Notes
Park Species Detail: Hill, 1986: Introduced, from Eurasia. Annual or biennial herb. Flowers pale-purple; occasional succulent herb. May-Sept. Salt pans and washes, beaches, salt marsh, disturbed sands. Infrequent but widespread throughout the island. Infrequent but widespread in coastal MD. Distinguished from #303 (ASIS herbarium Spergularia rubra) by its 2-5 stamens. (Higgins #193). MD & VA.
