Notes
Park Species Detail: Hill, 1986: Introduced, from Europe. Annual to biennial herb. Flowers white; inflorescence recurved at tip. April-May. In disturbed sands, Hudsonia dunes, shrub succession. Infrequent, but in large populations in the State Park and N tip of Assateague. Rarely encountered in MD. In disturbed sands, Hudsonia dunes, shrub succession. Reported by Brown & Brown (1984) from MD, but no specimens in MARY. Not reported by Higgins. First confirmed specimens from MD? Slide: B36-19. Strongly resembles #282 (ASIS Herbarium, Lepidium virginicum) when young., Park Species Data Source: Hill, 1986
