Notes
Park Species Detail: O'Connor & Rauzon were noted to be uncommon in their 2000 survey of Tutuila Island: 5 were counted in the park, and 15 outside the park. Engbring & Ramsey state that the Black Noddy nests year round on Tutuila, Rose, Swains and Tau and is known to be a visitor to the other islands. They also state that nesting black noddies have been only recorded around Pola Islet and Pola'uta Ridge in NPSA. Amerson et al. 1982 estimated there were about 200 birds for Tutuila, presumably all from these areas in NPSA., Park Species Data Source: NATUREBIB-601628, O'Connor & Rauzon 2004; NATUREBIB-3284, Engbring & Ramsey 1989; NATUREBIB-138047, Amerson et al. 1982
