Park Species Detail: Habitat in this Park Unit = Found only at, and apparently historically planted in, the Headquarters area as reported by Wunner (1967), in which he states that the taxon is "introduced from [the] Lost River flood plain near Arco;" he mis-identified it as Betula glandulosa. It is unknown if material from near Arco is/was native to Idaho, and if this taxon occurred naturally in this Park Unit. It is native in Utah.
