Park Species Detail: Hill, 1986: Native? possibly introduced to the island. Biennial herb. Flowers white. April-May. Infrequent to rare on Assateague, seen only on Scotts Point. See Vegetation Mapping Report. Infrequent in MD. These plants seem to be var. arenicola (Britt.) O.E. Schulz. Not reported by Higgins. MD only./
