Notes
Park Species Detail: During the 2005 shoreline bird inventory, one tropicbird was seen flying over the ocean close to high cliffs in the Ka'apahu section of the survey. During the 2005 seabird inventory, three birds were seen flying over land at 'Ohe'o, Ka'apahu and Puhilele. According to Cathleen Bailay, HALE, the order name for this species should be Pelecaniformes, not Ciconiiformes., Park Species Data Source: NATUREBIB-598649, Shoreline bird inventory. NATUREBIB-601714, Seabird inventory.
