Notes
Arizona elegans (Glossy Snake) is a rare inhabitant of the desert scrub habitat with a range that approaches Lake Mead and the extreme southwest reaches of the Grand Canyon. The species was previously considered common among the Colorado river system in a 1982 report by the Colorado River Wildlife Council.
