Loeb (2007, Bibkey #649732) expected this species to occur but was unable to document; Fields (2000, Bibkey #561828) found no site-specific records for this species, but reported Mancke (unpublished) and Neuhauser and DiSalvo (1972) reported the evening bat in York County. Mancke (unpublished) also reported this species in Cherokee, Chester and Lancaster Counties of South Carolina.; Data Source: Loeb 2007, Bibkey #649732
