Park Species Detail: Synonym = Carex filifolia var. filifolia (material in this Park Unit). Note: This species seems most prevalent in the Laidlaw Park and Carey Kipuka areas. -Steve Popovich, 4/2005. Habitat in this Park Unit = Generally occurring (or expected to occur) throughout the Park Unit, usually except at greatest elevations of the foothills; often in mesic-tending swales. Original data for this Park-Name Profile record were derived and entered by Steve J. Popovich, based upon a preponderance of evidence and the best scientific and commercial data available, including all specimen verifications by, and personal knowledge of project, park, and regional experts.
