Park Species Detail: Synonym = Filix fragilis. This genus is traditionally placed in the family Polypodiaceae; some break out this genus into a separate family, Dryopteridaceae. Habitat in this Park Unit = Generally restricted to lava flows. Original data for this Park-Name Profile record were derived and entered by Steve J.
