Park Species Detail: Since The Jepson Manual 1993 at least provisionally recognizes ssp. oregana, and CNPS rare plant program recognizes ssp. oregana as a rare taxon, it seems logical to use ssp. formosa for the LAVO plants, even though the Lassen Park flora 1995 doesn't use subspecies.
