Notes
Park Species Detail: Hobson, 1998: state rare plant, S1 = Extremely rare; usually 5 or fewer occurrences in the state; or may have a few remaining individuals; often especially vulnerable to extirpation. Element occurrence rank = C. Threats to the quality of the site for rare plants arise from invasive alien plant species, particularly eulalia (Microstegium vimineum) which is especially abundant in the ravine bottoms. Protection recommendations: Avoid direct disturbance to seepage habitats and upslope disturbances such as timber harvest, which may alter the hydrologic regime or add sediment to streams or ravines supporting the significant communities, rare plants and amphipod populations. /Hamilton, 2005: Global rank G5; State Rank S1, from Townsend, 2005./, Park Species Data Source: Hobson, 1998-Yorktown Unit/ Cheatham and Wormley Pond Drainages
