Park Species Detail: Hill, 1986: Native. Perennial herb. June-Sept. Woodland. Very rare. Reported by Higgins from Nature Trail at Wildlife Refuge, VA end and "one station Maryland" without specific location. (Higgins #312). Not found in 1984. A dried fruitstalk of this species (MARY) was reported by Higgins as Orobanche minor Sm. in error (Higgins #355). That species, and the Orobanchaceae, do not occur. MD? And VA./
