Park Species Detail: Hill, 1986: Native. Annual herb, possible perennial. Fruits immature, green. April-May. Ponds. Rare on Assateague, seen only in fresh pond on Scotts Point. See Vegetation Mapping Report. Frequent to infrequent and widespread in MD overall. Found by Higgins only at one pond on the VA end (Higgins #261).MD & VA./
