Notes
Park Species Detail: For the most part, Hyla versicolor is east of the Allegheny Front in WV and Hyla chrysoscelis west of the Front. When I surveyed NERI, it was unknown how far west H. versicolor’s range extended. It now appears that all gray treefrogs in NERI are H. chrysoscelis. See H. versicolor (TSN# 173503) and H. versicolor chrysoscelis (TSN# 207275) to view evidence for H. chrysoscelis., Park Species Data Source: Pauley et al., 1993. In NPBIB-530000., Accepted Detail: Pauley, T.K. 2009. Checklist of Reptiles in West Virginia; Pauley, T. K. 2009. Checklist of Amphibians in West Virginia.
