Park Species Detail: Rare in north; range extension to northern MN. If present, most animals roost in trees, also caves, mines, crevices in rock, rarely buildings. Often near water. Solitary or in small clusters, sometimes associated with M. lucifugus. Emerges early. Preys on small insects over waterways and near forest edge.
