Park Species Detail: Bartgis, 1993: Montgomery County, Whites Ferry Woods. Also in Washington County, Cedar Grove, the only place in Maryland where this plant occurs. Also in Two Locks, largest population in Maryland; State listed as an Endangered species. Wiegand, 2001: Plant species currently documented from Maryland but not successfully updated at previously reported sites in the survey area (from Sandy Hook, Maryland to District of Columbia line) during this survey.
