Notes
Park Species Detail: During their 1996-1998 survey, Berry & Young (2004) found 17 Shovelnose sturgeon in the Fort Randall district and 62 in the Gavins Point district. The authors cited this species as S. platoryhnchus and it is assumed that platorynchus is the correct spelling., Park Species Data Source: Shainost
