Notes
Park Species Detail: Some experts at scoping meeting (9/28/00) thought this might be a junior synonym of P. plectrodon. According to ICLARM/FAO FishBase (www.biodiversity.org.uk/ibs/sp2000/fishbase), this is a valid species. Not listed in American Fisheries Society checklist or by Robins et al. (1986). I consider this record questionable - W. F. Loftus
