Notes
Park Species Detail: Pelej, 1993: FACU./Townsend, 2006: G5?S2./Belden and Fleming, 2001: Mowing in the Asclepias purpurascens population should be timed to allow the plants to reach maturity and set seed. Fall or winter mowing appears to be appropriate. The rare plant population should be monitored to determine population trends, reproductive health, and the impact o non-native lant species over time. The invasive plant Lonicera japonica (Japanese honeysuckle) is rampant in the area and should be controlled if warranted and if feasible./, Park Species Data Source: Pelej, 1993; Belden and Fleming, 2001;
