Park Species Detail: Terrell, 1970: Rare; area 6 (Great Falls; islands overlooking Falls). Wiegand, 2001b: occurs in scoured habitats slightly elevated above the lowest areas along the river, and in low scour prairie and overwash savanna habitats. Buttonbush (Cephalanthus occidentalis) is widely scattered but not really abundant at this site. Found at 2 sites.
