Notes
This species is endemic to the PNW. Its distribution is west of the Cascade Mountains, occurring from the northwest corner of California and continuing north through western Oregon, Washington and a few miles into southeast British Columbia. In Washington a population extends west into the Olympic Mountains and in California it is restricted to the Redwood forests on the far Northwest coast.
It is considered endangered in Canada (as of 2024)
