Park Species Detail: Garman (1991) trapped 1 individual during extensive trapping in 1987 and 1988 on MDI. Coman (1987) a lactating female collected by J. Felsenstein on August 10, 1959 in a grove of spruces near Hamilton Station of the Jackson Lab, also a specimen collected from Northeast Harbor during January 1985 (S. Grierson); rare on MDI. Coman (1981) a lactating female collected by J. Felsenstein on August 10, 1959 in a grove of spruces near Hamilton Station of the Jackson Lab. Manville (1960) taken in a damp spruce grove opposite the Hamilton Station of the Roscoe B. Jackson Laboratory at Hulls Cove on 10 August 1959 (J.
