Park Species Detail: Hill, 1986: Native. Biennial herb. May-Oct. Roadsides, fresh marsh, shrub succession. Infrequent on the island, but widespread throughout North Beach and State Park areas. Infrequent in MD overall. Infrequent according to the MNHP. See Vegetation Mapping Report. (Higgins #430). MD only?. Slides: B88k-65, B88k-66./ Lea, 2000: Recommended change from 1994 S3 rank (Rare to uncommon, usually between 20 and 100 populations or occurrences; may have fewer occurrences, but with a large number of individuals in some populations; may be susceptible to large-scale disturbances) to proposed 1997 rank S4 (Common; usually >100 populations or occurrences, but may be fewer with many large populations; may be restricted to only a portion of the state; usually not susceptible to immediate threats.)/ Hamilton, 2004: Voucher specimens probable at MARY and CNWR./, Park Species Data Source: Hill,1986
