Park Species Detail: Hill, 1986: Native. Annual to perennial herb. July-Oct. Flowers white. Fresh marsh, wet sands. Frequent and widespread on Assateague, often abundant, as in Fox Hill levels. Infrequent to locally frequent in coastal areas of MD. (Higgins #290). MD & VA.
