Notes
Park Species Detail: Hill, 1986: Native. Annual vine, parasite. Flowers white, stems orange. June-Aug. or to Oct. Shrub succession, disturbed sands. Rare on Assateague, seen only at Buntings cabin at bayside. Infrequent in MD overall. Considered infrequent by MNHP. See Vegetation Mapping Report. The plant lacks chlorophyll and parasitizes other plants, especially trumpet creeper on the island. Not reported by HIggins. MD only. Slides: B77a-1, B77a-2./, Park Species Data Source: Hill, 1986
