Park Species Detail: Hobson, 1998: Not found to be common in the surveyed areas, but are likely to be more widespread than survey results indicate. . . . rated as "highly invasive" on the Invasive Alien Plant Species of Virginia list (DCR-DNH, 1996)./Gounaris, 2000: Characterized by mediium invasiveness, while covering a relatively high percentage of the park. Yorktown: More than ten populations of varying size and plant density were found on the eastern end of the park. It is common in the village. It was also found within -9 acres of roadside.
Green Spring: One small population found adjacent to field
Colonial Parkway: Found, often densely distributed, within ~ 103 acres of the parkway corridor.
Neck of Land: One small and I large population found in two old homesite areas./
