Park Species Detail: Russell (1984?) Uncommon spring migrant, common to very common fall migrant, accidental in winter. One winter record of a bird with purple sandpipers along Ocean Drive on 2 January 1960 (P. Favour, D. McPheters). Bond (1969) transient on MDI. Bond (19??) fairly common transient on MDI. Sullivan (1937): transient, common from July to September, rarer in spring (Pellew).
