Notes
Park Species Detail: Hill, 1986: Native. Annual herb. Flowers white to cream-green; root with wintergreen aroma. June-Sept. Disturbed sands, shrub succession. Apparently salt tolerant, found near upper portion of salt marsh. Rare on Assateague, inconspicuous as well, seen only at High Winds cabin. See Vegetation Mapping Report.
