Witt (1997) reports this species in areas adjacent to the park. Also, one bird found dead in Seawall.
Russell (1984?) accidental, one bird found dead at Seawall during August 1964 (now in the Patterson Collection), also a bird seen in Bass Harbor during August 1968 (W. Townsend).
