Notes
Park Species Detail: Hill, 1986: Native. Perennial herb. Glaucous herb with well-developed rhizomes, colonial. Aug.-Oct. Dunegrass, less frequent in disturbed sandand beaches. Infrequent on Assateague, infrequent overall in MD, coastal. Similar to P. amarulum, but with larger spikelets, more glaucous, and forming large but low colonies by an extensive rhizome system not found in #133 (Panicum amarulum, ASIS Herbarium).
