Although native to the Snake River Plain, this taxon has only been observed here along the Snake River shoreline and as planted trees near buildings. It is possible that extant trees in this Park Unit are of off-site origin, and technically non-native. Legacy NPSpecies information may no longer be applicable, please remove if it is not applicable. In legacy NPSpecies Cultivation value was Unknown with comment: Trees planted hsitorically near outbuildings along Bell Ditch canal are persistent; trees occurring along the Snake River shoreline may be native and naturally occurring or be volunteers from non-native material.
