Notes
Park Species Detail: Synonym = Arabis retrofracta. Synonym = ITIS "Std. Std. Accepted Sci. Name" = Arabis holboellii var. retrofracta. Note: The highly variable Arabis holboelllii var. retrofracta cannot always be meaningfully segregated from var. secunda and is currently best treated as subsumed by the latter. Intermountain Flora (Vol 2B, 2005), A Utah Flora (Welsch et al, 3rd ed, 2003) and Cruciferae of North America (Rollins 1999) no longer differentiate var. retrofracta from var. secunda. The epithet secunda apparently predates retrofracta and should be used. Habitat in this Park Unit = Generally occurring (or expected to occur) throughout the Park Unit, usually except at greatest elevations of the foothills. Original data for this Park-Name Profile record were derived and entered by Steve J. Popovich, based upon a preponderance of evidence and the best scientific and commercial data available, including all specimen verifications by, and personal knowledge of project, park, and regional experts. Regional floral manuals used included: Intermountain Flora - Vascular Plants of the Intermountain West (1972-2005), A Utah Flora (2003), Flora of the Pacific Northwest (1973), Flora of North America (1993-2006), The Cruciferae of Continental North America (1993), various botanical monographs, Western U.S. floras, and other botanical works such as Weeds of the West (1996), USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service PLANTS database, and Natural Heritage Program, Idaho Conservation Data Center Element Occurrence database., Park Species Data Source: Original data derived by Steve J.
