Notes
Park Species Detail: Checklist information (abundance, nativity) updated 4/9/03 by professional judgement of Bruce Connery, ACAD wildlife biologist. Jones (1986) (from handwriten note on manuscript): lists one specimen record from Pretty Marsh and notes that "This specimen presumably was identified prior to the realization that South-Polar Skuas were regular in the North Atlantic; the specimen will have to be re-examined for correct identification". Favour (1974) lists a specimen record of a "skua" from Pretty Marsh.
