Park Species Detail: Hill, 1986: Native. Annual herb. July-Oct. Fresh marsh, apparently also salt tolerant. Infrequent to rare on Assateague, infrequent throughout MD. Found only near VA line, but to be expected elsewhere in disturbed sands. MD & VA?. (Higgins #61). See Vegetation Mapping Report./
