Notes
Park Species Detail: Cheryl Mayer reported finding Viola selkirkii in a north-facing gulley while rock climbing in the Emancipation Rockphormation area of Mount Rushmore National Park on 5/8/2004. The presence of this species was verified by Mike Bynum who returned to the site in May of 2005. Mike collected specimens and took photo vouchers. This species was found growing in a moist and cool north-facing gulley where moss mats provided habitat for the plants., Park Species Data Source: Cheryl Mayer observation; Mike Bynum observation and photo.
