Abundance Notes
Known only from two specimens. This is usually a highly secretive, burrowing species that typically stays under ground during hot weather. It is undoubtedly more abundant than the small number of encounters suggests.; Data Source: Keiser, Edmond, D. 2002. Survey of the Amphibians and Reptiles of Vicksburg National Military Park. unpublished report. 134pp.
