Notes
Park Species Detail: Hill, 1986: Native. Annual herb. July-Sept. Salt pans and washes, salt marsh. Locally frequent herb with pink flowers, somewhat succulent. Infrequent on Assateague overall, but locally frequent at Fox Hill levels, bayside. Infrequent in MD overall. Said to be rare by Higgins (Higgins #347) and reported as Gerardia maritima Raf., a synonym. MD only. Slides: B81-7, B81-9. See Vegetation Mapping Report./
