Park Species Detail: Bowes et al. (1999) documented within ANP during 1995; historically present in at least 2 of the 21 ponds in the park on Mount Desert Island. Stocked in Eagle Lake, Echo Lake (1994) , and Jordan Pond; recently documented at Eagle Lake (winter creel records 1989-1995) and Jordan Pond (fall 1991, fall 1994, July 1995 (MDIFW), and 1991).
Fuller and Cooper (1946) Originally native to Maine but have been introduced to new waters within Maine; subsequent to their field survey in summer of 1942, species has been introduced into Jordan Pond., Park Species Data Source: Bowes et al. (1999); Fuller and Cooper (1946)
