Park Species Detail: Hobson, 1998: Not found to be common in the surveyed areas, but are likely to be more widespread than survey results indicate. . . . rated as "highly invasive" on the Invasive Alien Plant Species of Virginia list (DCR-DNH, 1996). Belden et al (1995) mentioned several of these exotic species as occurring within surveyed parcels along Yorktown Creek within Colonial National Historical Park./Belden, 1995: A prevalent exotic in forested bottomlands east of Route 17, and north of the Colonial Parkway./Hamilton, 2005: Not listed in DCR/DNH September 2003 "Invasive Alien Plant Species of Virginia"./, Park Species Data Source: Hobson, 1998-Yorktown Unit/ Cheatham and Wormley Pond Drainages;Belden, 1995-Yorktown Unit/York Creek Drainiage;
