Park Species Detail: An estimated 10+ acres was found in summer 2007 to be infested at a kipuka on Wapi Flow, just south of Sand Kipuka; also reported to occur a few air-miles to the south as stated by Mr. John Cenarrusa (Paige Wolken, pers. comm. with S. Popovich, fall 2007). Known to occur southwest and west of this Park Unit, and to be expected to encroach from there. Habitat in this Park Unit = Generally occurring (or expected to occur) throughout the Park Unit, usually except at greatest elevations of the foothills; often in disturbed areas or weedy sites. Original data for this Park-Name Profile record were derived and entered by Steve J.
