Park Species Detail: Hill, 1986: Perennial herb. Flowers yellow. August-Sept. Woodland margins. Infrequent to rare on Assateague, seen only near Green run cemetery. See Vegetation Mapping Report. Infrequent in MD, mostly coastal plain. Reported as Chrysopsis nervosa (Willd.) Fern., a synonym (Higgins #393). Slides: B88k-24, B88k-25. Higgins found the plant only on the VA end. MD & VA./
