Occurrence Notes
A voucher specimen for this species for Chalmette Unit was not located at Tulane University by Ferguson in 2008. It is common and found throughtout the state of Louisiana. However, it is similar to Cyclospermum leptophyllum. Without a voucher specimen its presence in Chalmette Unit cannot be confirmed (Ferguson, 2008). Tulane University voucher specimens by Darwin #2258 and 2244 and Nolfo #16 and 163 for Barataria Unit were correctly identified and verified by D.M. Ferguson (2008). Tulane University voucher specimen by Dowling #362 was misidentified (as Ptilimnium capillaceum) as redetermined to be Cynosciadium digitatum by D.M. Ferguson (2008).; Data Source: Urbatsch, L. E., D. M. Ferguson and S. M. Zumo. 2007. Vascular plant inventories of Jean Lafitte Historical Park and Preserve, Barataria and Chalmette Units.
