Park Species Detail: Bowes et al. (1999) documented within ANP during 1994; historically present in at least 4 of the 21 ponds in the park on Mount Desert Island. Recently documented from Hodgdon Pond (May 1994, and Lower Hadlock Pond (January 1987).
Fuller and Cooper (1946) Abundant in Seal Cove Pond and Abundant in Echo Lake during the summer of 1942; collected during surveys with seines in Seal Cove Pond during the summer of 1942.
