Notes
Tantilla hobartsmithi (Southwestern Black-headed Snake) is a rare species of the pinyon-juniper and ponderosa pine habitats. Specimens have been collected near the North Rim around Tapeats Creek. Park Species Detail: Miller et al., 1982 gives Tantilla planiceps utahensis as synonym.
