Based on USDA Plants database, ITIS, email from David Nicolson, and Symstad (pers. comm.) MHW decided to use Amaranthus blitoides as accepted name rather than A. graecizans as was recommended by H. Marriott (2005).; Data Source: MHW Nov 14, 2006 Flora of North American in agreement (accessed 2020); graecizans is European; collected in NJ in 1879 (ship ballast). No longer recognized in NA otherwise; specimens are either alba or blitoides. http://beta.floranorthamerica.org/Amaranthus_graecizans#Discussion However, Marriott 11731 is A. californicus (note prominent veins), which has been added as a separate record.
